  • Howdy from Texas

Just joined and trying to absorb all the information. I have a White 1998 lexus gs 300 with bondo, scratches, swirls and has never been detailed before. I didn't even know you could until not so long ago.

Hopefully I can restore this to a semi like new condition. I have a few questions which you'll probably see in the detailing forum shortly.

    Thanks,
    Chris

G'day mate! I'm in the same boat as you, didn't know what detailing was until recently. I knew it existed, but just thought it was washing/cleaning a car. I wasn't aware that you can improve so many blemishes on your car too. I always thought that for paint, the only way to fix a scratch or anything is to respray.

Anyway, good luck with detailing your lexus, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of great information on here to help you.

p.s. under the smileys is a button: "Get more" with a heap of other cool smileys
