  • Another newbie here from Germany!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to say that I'm glad that this forum exists for I am really impressed with Meguiars products.

I own a black 1996 Ford Mustang GT convertible that is only driven in the summertime, has low miles, and looks great thanks to Meguiars. I get compliments all the time. Here is a pic:

Here is a dusk pic. The car even shines in the dark.

I using Gold Class with a layer of Carnauba wax for a good seal. I only hand polish my cars(too scared of using a buffer). When my GC is empty I'll give the NXT a try.

Anyways I'm glad to be here and I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and learning more from this site.

Detailing is only fun when you use the right products and that's what Meguiars offers.

Very nice! If you want to take that black paint to the "next level", you have to invest in the Porter Cable/Meguiars G100. You won't believe the difference it will make, ESPECIALLY on black.

Thanks. I'll have to give it a try if I ever get the courage to use a buffer. Thanks for the tip.

You know I have used a lot of different brands of polishes before. I have at least 10 different bottles in my garage. But when I started using Meguiars I knew that these were the right products. It's amazing how the polishes deliver such a wonderful shine without having to use any complicated methods. You don't have to be a professional to use Meguiars products. I recommend them all the time when people ask me what I use. I also just recently recommended Meguiars to a woman who just bought a new Audi A3 Sportsback and she's totally satisfied with the products as well. I only wish that they would be easier to find over here in Germany.

The Germans have the best driveways to detail cars in.

                    Looks Great!

                      Lol! Thanks!
It is a nice driveway but would be nice to have some shade in the area. My garage is very narrow so it makes detailing difficult until the sun goes down and then it's all good.

                        Hey everyone!

Haven't been here for a while but I thought I'd show some recent pics of my Stang.

If anyone ever says that a Meguiars shine never lasts they're totally buggin. I didn't do a detail job on it when I snapped those pics. I just drove it out of the garage to the spots and took the pics. If it looks good in those pics just imagine how it would've looked after a detail job. I still use nothing but Meguiars on my car and I even recommended Meguiars products to my friends and now they are hooked as well.

                              Blackstang,

Looks absolutely awesome! I have always thought that bodystyle of mustang (1994-1998) is SOOOOOO much better looking then the ones made from 99 to present. Also, I am suprised to see that vehicle in Europe, I would have thought American V-8 muscle cars in Europe are almost non existant.

The landscapes etc. from your photos in Germany look almost itentical to Ohio!
