  • Ultimate compound

I’m retired and work part time at Advance Auto. Sometimes I help put products on the shelves. I’m always checking out the Meguiars stuff. Lately I’ve noticed the Ultimate compound with the new label doesn’t have any lot numbers on them anywhere. Is Meguiars doing away with that??? Franco

Hey Franco! Good to hear your working a pt gig after retirement. I think it's one of the things that keep people young and going.
I know up here I saw Ultimate Compound on the shelves "new formula" - or something like that - in the labels, mimiking the new labeling on the other Ultimate products. I didn't even read on here they were working on the new formula, but there they are on the shelves.

Hey Buddy!! I took a year off and decided to get back into the workforce. Since I love cars, perfect gig. Hope you are doing well my friend. Hope I’m not crossing the line, but are you “silly rabbit “ over on autopia/autogeek ? If not, sorry. Again hope you’re doing well Buddy.

Pt gigs when people retire are usually enjoyable. They like the job, don't have to be there if they don't want to, say hours/days available, and so like going in. Great to hear your enjoying it!

I actually am over in those two forums, and Mike Philips forums as well. Thats a good call on your part.

              Hi Franco,

You are thinking of our Professional Mirror Glaze Line in the tan bottles. Ultimate Compound and our other consumer/enthusiast products do not have the part number on the front label nor do they have a level of aggressiveness scale.

Hi Nick, thank you for the response. I understand what you are saying , but I'm asking about consumer Ultimate compound with the new labels. All my ULW bottles and cleaner wax A1216 plus 3in1 wax all have a lot number or batch number on the back bottom of the bottle. Maybe the new bottles missed the ink jet or embossing stamp. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Franco

Hi Nick. I was helping put product on the shelves in between delivery runs yesterday at Advance Auto. Saw some Lot/Batch numbers on the new bottles of Ult Compound. All is right with the world !! Franco

Sounds good, apologies I did not realize you referring to these numbers. You shouldn't have to worry about this much as the products have a shelf life of 3 - 5 years.
