not recievimg e mails

Thanks for the help. I have sent an email to have our servers checked out. I did check permissions earlier today and they are enabled.
It's strange that some are getting email notifications and some are not. Mike is getting his and I am not even though our settings are the same...confused:

I will send another email and have it checked into further.
As far as the Father's Day thing and SqkyKln, Meguiarsonline.com and Meguiars.com have nothing to do with each other as far as being on the same servers or controlled by the same people. The Father's Day thing comes from Meguiars.com.
I am still not getting mine either...

I just changed my email address in my User CP from my charter.net address to my mindspring.com address and now it works.
I also just got off the phone with the guy that handles the servers and he will look into it again. He also said that it is more likely for the free accts. to block your notification email from MOL.
Here’s what it comes down to…. Some providers are not accepting your emails from MOL and unfortunately it may not help to call them but you could try.
I just called Charter (my cable internet connection provider) and here’s what they said… “We have no idea but will look into it.”
If you have another account you might try changing you address in the User CP. If it is just a second acct. with the same provider this will not work. I have two email addresses with charter.net and neither one would work. Also, my mindspring.com acct. had a fwd to my charter.net acct. and I had to take the fwd off and set it up separately in Outlook Express because charter.net was sill blocking my email notifications.
We are still working on the issue to see if something can be done so let me know if it starts working for you.

Lynn just helped me get back on the board. Thanks Lynn! I changed my profile to another one of my e-mail addresses, when doing this you are suppossed to get an e-mail notification verifying the change. Well..... I didn't get a response to the new e-mail account and because I hadn't logged in acknowledging a new address I couldn't access the features of the board. The accounts I'm using aren't free e-mail accounts they are Comcast and Qwest (large ISP's) services. I still think this problem is on Meguiars side of the server. I used to get notification and this has changed. Others have indicated they have stopped getting notifications also. I don't believe all of our ISP's changed policies. I might believe it was my ISP's problem if I had never been able to recieve notifications. Unfortunately this really makes the usefulness of this site limited. I never know when someone is replying to the thread I am watching or sending me a PM so my interaction is limited to stumbling across the thread again while reading new posts. I would really like to see this problem fixed. The other boards are finding a way around or don't have this problem we need Meguiar's to find a solution. This is a first rate board. You can add me to the list of those not getting e-mail notifications of posts to subscribed threads.
I tried two different email addresses this evening and they are on two different ISP's. One is on Time Warner RoadRunner and the other is Ameritech(SBC).
I still get no notification. Nor did I receive any notice of the email changes I made.
