I think being named "Mike" is a requirement to get a job at Megs. Perhaps it cuts down on the name tag expenses.

I get the impression that if someone yells "Hey Mike" at Meguiar's about 30 heads turn and say "Yeah, what." ROTFLOL

Nice to see you guys are getting notifications now! I got an email from our man in the trenches (and, yes, his name is also Mike, but not Mike Pennington ) and I've passed along your gratitude to him.

It seems that there are some settings in and among the various servers that need to be adjusted so that other email servers don't see us as spam. Or don't see us as even being potential spam. Things are just further complicated by the fact that there are almost as many servers to talk to as there are MOL members, and they apparently don't all see eye to eye. Bottom line - whatever Mike did seems to have worked, and that's a good thing.

The board was hard to reach or down for awhile and just a few moments ago I received my first email notification on a thread! I almost did not even realize it!

I too just received notification. First one ever since I joined.

Did not work...still not getting emails from the posts. and I didn't get the confimation of my account email either way back when I first joined. Megs had to manually approve my account. Oh well!

Here's an old school method to try:

Go back and set all your settings not to receive any messages. Then 24 hours later go back in and reset them to receive.
