  • convertable top,new here also

    Hello everyone
I switched everything we use to this product, meguiars, much better. I do have one problem. We own a 35th anniversary mustang ,it,s a rag top.Befoer we changed products we used mothers vinyl top conditioner, it worked fine. The top to the mustang is original and in mint shape, looks new. My question is this, what does meguiars have that I can clean the top and then condition it with, I prefer to buy two seperate products, I shy away from products that do multiple things. I do demand the best look I can get.
Thanks everyone, any help is much needed, new to this product, hope it shines our car good to.

Welcome Matt and Carla! I too have a ragtop Mustang and have wondered about that also! (So I'm glad you asked!) I was lucky enough to have a brother that told me about Meguiar's, ... so like the day after I got my Mustang I went shopping for cleaning items for it, and got as many Meguiar's products as I could. However, the only thing they had for ragtops was BlueMagic Convertible Top Cleaner, for cleaning and protecting. It has done a fine job, but when this bottle is gone (or even before, lol) I would like to use whatever Meguiar's product I can in it's place. I also was hoping for a seperate cleaner and conditioner/protectant, as it just seems like they would be most effective individually. But at the time this was what was available, and even though it has done fine, I would prefer Meguiar's, and two seperate items as well. =) Congratulations on your 35th anniversary Mustang! We love pictures around here, so if you happen to have any to post, it would be great to see them!

Matt and Carla - I did a little more looking and found this thread: it mentions 2 products by Meguiar's for cleaning and protecting canvas. It is from their Marine line, but would work for convertible tops too =)
