Hi all,
Finally I can join in this great forum after a lot of registration failure! NOTE: This is due to my internet connection down here! Hahahahaha
I own a Nighthawk Black Pearl Honda Jazz (Honda Fit in the US), 2005 model and it's a daily-driver car.
In a nutshell, I'm a newbie from Indonesia. I've started detailing my car since 2 months ago, when I met the Megs distributor here in Indonesia.
After a lot of conversations and also some demonstrations, I was convinced to start detailing my car. This is the first time I ever cared enough to detail my car!
Here's my equipment:
Washing
Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner
Claying
Megs Quik Clay System
Cleaning
DC 1 Paint Cleaner
Scratch X
Polish
M-07 Show Car Glaze
Waxing
M-06 Cleaner Wax
M-26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax
Maintaining
Quik Wax
Quik Detailer
ETC
Gold Class Endurance High Gloss
Gold Class Versa Angle Tire Brush
Megs Ultimate Wipe
Megs Supreme Shine Microfiber
Deep Pile Chenile Wash mitt
Super Suede Drying Towel
Water Magnet
Here they only sell an orbital buffer, at ACE Hardware, so I bought the 9 inch model. I also bought two foam bonnets from another brand. Sorry!
It's just that Megs don't have any foam bonnets...
I wanted to buy the Metabo rotary buffer but I know im still a greenhorn in detailing business
.
So far, I've never clayed and cleaned my car's finish, because it was recently detailed (3 weeks ago) at the Megs Detail Center.
Anyway, I have some questions:
1. I'm in need of a one step product that has good cleaning power, because the environment down here is so full of contaminants. Btw, they still sell Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner and Medallion Premium Paint Protection down here
...Of these three (Color X, M-06, Medallion Premium Paint Protection), which one can I use monthly with an orbital buffer and has the best cleaning ability? NOTE: I'm planning on topping any ofe those products with M-26.
2. I'm also thinking to buy M-09. In terms of cleaning, how is M-09 compared to the products above?
For the questions above, please remember that I'm only using an orbital buffer with a yellow foam bonnet AND that I will always use M-26 as my LSP. Sorry, can't help it....I'm a Carnauba fan...
Thank you in advance.
