    hi,

i've been trying to upload files to a new topic from my gallery but it won't let me.

everytime i do it and go to preview it just shows the link. and yes i CLICK ON IMG at the top and then insert the picture's URL and it doesn't work.

This version of vBulletin will not display the image in preview mode.

Try this, make a post doing what you're doing and then see if it shows up, if it doesn't we can all look at your code and find out what's wrong.

              Here's your picture...

Here's what you're doing wrong, you're placing the URL address for the Webpage into the IMG tags.

You should be Right Clicking on the picture then when the Properties window appears, highlight and copy and past the URL address for the picture. Like this,

I use both FireFox and I.E.

I like I.E. because you can download I.E. Spell and right click in the message box and spell check your writing, I'm not sure if a add-on tool like this has been created for FireFox.

                    Plus it's FREE!

                    Here' s the link,

Free Spell Checker for Internet Explorer!

Once you get it installed, in order to load the software utility into your Internet Explore software, you'll need to close all of your Internet Explorer windows and then re-open Internet Explorer. Now your ready to go!

From here forward, anytime you type text into an 'entry field' of just about any sort on the Internet (i.e. message board text, form fields, etc.), you can Right click with your mouse within the field box and you'll see an option called SPELL CHECK. Choose that option by clicking on it with your mouse and it will spell check the field in which you've entered the text and offer suggestions for misspelled words much like Microsoft Word does when you spell check.

While not as perfect as MS Word, it is fast, convenient, and handy... I use it for every message I post. (I used to type everything in MS Word and then copy and paste it into my message box on the forum till I discovered this handy little tool.

                    Check it out...

My guess would be that your file names are forever and a day long...

                          For exampe:

                          7862Mini_Cooper_S_Checkmate_Side_Car_Reflection_Shot.jpg

                          Try changing it to,

                          MiniCooperSCheckmateSideCarReflectionShot.jpg

Then when you upload it and follow the directions you and everyone else will see this,
