Can this be used as a base for the new ultimate ceramic or the hybrid coating?

No, as with any coating they should be applied to a bare surface.

The obvious competition is D166 Ultra polishing wax.

How does this compare to D166 in cut and protection/durability?

More cut, more protection/durability, better finishing ability. This should be your new 166 if price is not an factor. Our most premium, latest, advanced Cleaner/Wax/AIO to date.

I just noticed in the image the cut is stated to be 6 on the scale on the side of the bottle.

I always felt that D166 had a better cut than that. Maybe 7 or 8 compared to my other compounds. Maybe correcting 2500 grit.

I like(d) M86 and D151 products very much so M300 will be a natural way to continue. Looking forward to get my hands on this new 2024 all in one with its newest technology. Those liquids can truly perform magic in easy quick application.

This all in one products are very versatile. With rotary buffer and wool cutting pad they can deliver quite aggressive defect removal. With softer buffing pads they finish high gloss wax ready. With the newest technology I expect even more impressive performance out of M300.

Is the application/direction label available to post? I'm curious if it's a panel to panel type product, or can you apply it to a larger area with removal at the end?

                      Hi HCAD,

It can be applied either way you mentioned.
