So, here we are with the new version of the vBulletin software up and running. The visual changes are subtle, though noticeable, but it's obviously the same MOL you all know and love. The message editing/composing window is quite a bit different though, and should make laying out a post a bit easier for those who want to add some visual interest to their posts.
Some of the biggest changes to the site are really behind the scenes, so from a user experience you probably won't notice much of a change. But the older version of the software we were using is no longer being supported, so the upgrade was necessary. But the new version has more to offer in the long run, and gives us a new foundation to build on. Big on the list of things to build for the new platform is an MOL mobile app. That will allow mobile users a much more user friendly mobile experience, from page loading to image uploading, etc. We're still using the same add on gallery, which is not compatible with other mobile add-ons (like TapaTalk) but the debut of a full mobile app will eliminate the need for such add-ons anyway.
Take some time to get a feel for the new layout and let us know what you think. Anything you'd like to see us add? Anything you think we should leave off? Anything you come across that doesn't seem to be working quite right? Let us know in this thread.
