We want to give you all a heads up that MOL is going to be down for a couple of days on July 12-13 (Tuesday & Wednesday) while we upgrade the forum software and migrate things over.
When we come back online you'll notice some subtle changes and a few upgrades. The forum will have a slightly cleaner look and feel, especially on the home page. We're staying with vBulletin, and we're also staying with the third party gallery software we're using (which means those of you holding out for something like TapATalk may not be thrilled as that service does not work with our add on gallery package, sorry), but some of the other upgrades you'll see include:
Also with our upgrade we’ll be adding a mobile suite which will gives us:
Now, these last two won't go live immediately, but it shouldn't be more than a few weeks before they do.
We know that these upgrades seem to impact some users more than others, and not everyone is equally pleased with what they see when the rollout happens. But this is NOT a sweeping, enormous change, so don't worry!
And we want to apologize in advance to those of you who like to access the forum while you're at work. You'll actually have to work on those two days. Sorry.

- Complete, intuitive “What You See is What You Get” content editing capability for “WebKit” browsers.
- Paste from Word! You can now paste Word documents into the vBulletin editor; the CKEditor will try to preserve as much of Word text formatting as possible. (this will eliminate the enormous amount of Word coding that would otherwise get transferred to your post, which is a real annoyance if that post needs to be edited in any way)
- High Performance and Accessibility - the server load will be greatly reduced, so things should move more quickly and smoothly
- Auto-Save. Sick of losing posts when your browser crashes? Now you won’t have to worry, your content is safe.
Also with our upgrade we’ll be adding a mobile suite which will gives us:
- A mobile style that will allow you to view the forums on your mobile phone more cleanly.
- A dedicated app that you will be able to download to your phone for viewing and posting on the forums for Android and iPhone.
