Thanks Mike. Always been loads of help, and very kind to me, even though we never met.

You'd better give someone your giant pile of stock forum answers, so they can keep being shown off.

        Thanks for everything,

Gosh everyone, thank you so much for all the kind words.

Barry and everyone here at Meguiar's have been the best team of people I've ever worked with out of all the different jobs I've had in my life. I've had jobs I've absolutely hated, so I know what that end of the spectrum is like and words can't describe how rewarding it is when love your job to the point where you jump out of bed to get your day started instead of dreading the day and that's what the last 7 years have been like for me.

            Thank you everyone at Meguiar's.

Over the years I've made so many friends here on the forum and in all the classes that we've held here at Meguiar's, as well as our Roadshow classes in other states, and without a doubt this has been the best part of my job.

This forum has bright future because it has a strong foundation built around high caliber people both here at Meguiar's and in the membership of our online community.

This isn't a thread about an ending, it's a thread about a new beginning. As the saying goes...

            See you on the forums...

The position will be filled through the normal interview process which will include any and all internal and/or external applicants.

In the interim, there will be several people here that will help out, as well as, the members continuing to do what they do best....Keeping MOL a family friendly destination for quality detailing information.

Wow. Where do you start with the "thank you's" and the "sad to see your go's"... I can only say thank you for everythig you have done in the past for me, helping me when we came to LA, helping with tricky little problems, helping with info... blaa blaa blaa....... you will be sadly missed but when a great opportunity drops in your lap you just have to grab it with both hands and hang on tight.

Once again THANK YOU and you will be misssed.

                                Mike,

I've been living with this news in anticipation of this post for a few days, and seeing the actual post made this sink in a bit deeper. When Mike Pennington shared the bittersweet news about the change with me I told him I had a sick feeling in my stomach, and that is still the case.

For those of you that don't know, Mike has basically been a mentor via keyboard and telephone to me over the last year while I have been moderating at MOL and I have to give Mike a lot of credit for helping me grow as a person and a detailer.

I just wanted to publicly thank Mike for everything he has done, and his never-ending kindness.

I wish you the best of luck in anything and everything you do Mike, and as always, you know where to reach me if you ever need a helping hand.

                                -Mark
