waiting to see my post?

im sure its a newbie thing
but is there a way to shorten the time before a moderator approves my post
waiting 1/2 a day or a day, to see what i posted is a little frustrating
i think its just the posts with pictures in them, im not sure


btw, dont take this as a complaint, just asking
iv been a moderator on another big website with over 70.000 members
for more than 5 years
so i know your jobs are not easy

It's just some thing they have to do with new members in order to reduce the number of spammers that try to join. It's nothing personal - they did that with some of my first posts and threads as well.

Once you have a few posts under your belt, you'll be able to see your posts instantly. Just hang in there.

We very much appreciate your understanding, so thanks for that!!

Sometimes it's just a matter of timing; if someone's post goes into moderation - for whatever reason - shortly after the last moderator left the site then it might be a while before it's noticed. We strive to release these as quickly as possible, but obviously if someone is looking for an answer any delay can be frustrating. We'll continue to work toward addressing these post more quickly.
