    Brush Covers.

I have fooled around and bought about every brush Meg's has to offer. Now I am finding that I wish there was a head cover for them as I don't want to leave them laying around in such a way that they get distorted. I have them upright in a 5 gallon bucket with the heads up but still find that to be a little awkward.

It would be great to have some sort of plastic brush head cover that I could snap onto the head of the brushes. Maybe something with some holes in it just in case I have to put the brushes in there while they are still wet or damp.

This would also serve the purpose of helping to insure the brushes are clean for the next usage and have not been contaminated when my BUCKET "O" BRUSHES falls over again next time.

And while on the brush sublect. What about some sort of clip on doodad that would allow me a way to temporarily clip my brushes to the outside of a 5 gallon bucket. My shop vac vacuum came with such a doodad that allows me to clip my accessories to the outside of the shop-vac for safekeeping. Something along this line would be great for the brushes as I find that since I keep my brushes in one of my wash buckets, I tend to take them out and lay them closeby. It would be nice to have them all upright on the side of the bucket.

I'm not familiar with these brushes yet, but you can buy metal clips that attach to the wall to hang brooms & mops on.

Or, maybe you could drill a small hole into the handle and hang them on a nail.

This is just one version of the clips that I had in mind....

I like the idea of a case or cover, at least for the head. My garage can get pretty dusty if the wind is blowing in the right direction. I have mine hanging now, but I have to clean them before I use them. If the case only covers the head, we can still hang them as well.

My problem is that I have no garage. I am building a shed but as it won't be heated/insulated the car care stuff won't be going in there. Currently try to keep everything in an used closet in the house.

It would be nice to be able to keep everything in the bucket for the "Grab & Go" ease.

dunno if this will help but I kept the plastic bubble for the spoke brush for storing it between uses. Cuts down on the bristles bunching up. I've found the spoke brush very difficult to store without messing up the bristles.

Maybe a 6" piece of pvc pipe with a cap on one end the length of the brush, you could even rig it to hang on the wall. Sounds like I might have an easy weekend project.

Yeah, Hindsight is 20/20 as they say. Wish I had thought of that

I finally was able to catch a pic of Meg's Ultimate bucket. Looks like that will likely do for a better brush holder for my purpose. They don't have pics on the website but I saw a pic of it on another website. I'll order that and give her a try. As long as it can keep the brushes in it with the bristle up I'll be happy. I can always just throw a ziplock over the bristle end. My main goal is to keep things a little bit portable but still be able the store the brushes in such a way so as to not mash the heads and cause them to deform over time.

Anyone familiar with Pre-Filters that go on air filters, or shock covers for ATVs? Make a little bag out of that stuff that slips over the brush and you can close it with a drawstring.
