How about a biodegadable laundry soap specifically designed to remove wax from towels and maximize softness and absorbancy of microfibers?

Omo front loader detergent works just fine for me, pads and MF towels look new.

Maybe just have a dedicated load of waxing & wash towels and pour a small amount of Dawn dish liquid in there instead of detergent...just a suggestion

I would buy some, sounds like a good idea. Other brands have there own detergents too.

I find regular liquid, non scented works just fine. I tend to stay away from powder.

Liquid detergent works fine. They are very concentrated these days and not much is needed. Make sure to look into the washer on the last cycle (before it starts to rinse and spin) to make sure the water isn't too soapy (an indication you are using too much) and do another rinse cycle if needed.
