I know I've said this before, but I think Meguiar's should offer more samples of its products. There are so many products out there that people don't know about and haven't tried. I think Meguiar's products are good enough to sell themselves, and that if more people tried the products, Meguiar's would have even more loyal customers. That's my theory anyway.....

Maybe they could offer samples in "kits"

              Waxes
              Body shop line
              dressings.....

              etc

Kits, different ones for neglected paint, average paint, or new/like new paint. Mini containers that have a dime or nickel size opening, for just the "right" amount of product. The mini containers could be refilled, for a "trunk kit", for "detailing" visits. Hey, they might even become "collectible".

I think Meguiar’s should market a small palm size bottle that can be included with a purchase of a newer product and definitely with orders of 4 or 5 full-size products. Just include enough to detail the vehicle once and leave the customer wanting it badly enough to purchase it for his next detail. Believe me, Meguair’s has excellent quality products and having just a sample of any polish, wax, etc. will help move many units for the product.

                    Hi all,

Meguiar's has always offered samples of some type. Currently, there are samples for,

                    Quik Suds Car Wash Strips
NXT Tech Wax in a one ounce mustard pack
                    Gold Class Endurance High Gloss

And I'm sure there are others that I am not aware of...

In the past, we have offered all types of samples. Over in the corner of my office is a Mirror Glaze Suit Case of samples from the Professional line, circa late 1980's

In Barry's office there are 1 ounce glass bottles of Furniture Cleaner and Furniture Polish, from either the 1920's or later...

I'll see if I can find out a list of all our currently available samples.

I used to have a palm size bottle of Quik Detailer from a few years back...I think I paid a dollar for it.

Meguiars was nice enough to send me a pack of Car Wash Strips with my latest order.

                      Thanks

Thanks for all the replies. I figured it would be a good topic to bring up.

                        Mike,
What do I need to do to get a sample of the Quick Suds and NXT? I'm already an avid user of Endurance -- just looking for new products to get hooked on! Do they make a sample of #40 by any chance?

                        Thanks,

Mike, I'm not talking about free samples. I was trying to bounce the idea of MINI tan containers of products. Imagine: the pro-line in 3 oz. or so , in a kit, or separate. A gift box assortment, complete with an ultimate wipe towel, and some foam pads. Kits could be based on paint condition. If the "tan mini's" had the labeling, like their full size counter-parts, who could resist? A basket full, in the trunk, and you would be "Ready"...

Ditto on the how to get the samples. I'd like to try the NXT myself, and I'm putting a bunch of stuff together as a "door prize" for a cruise I'm running in May, I'd love to add some small sample size Meg's products (I'm trying to use only free stuff, since I'll already be spending money on other stuff involved)!

Ok, I found the Quik-suds sample. Go here and look at the bottom middle for a link to fill out a form for a free sample: http://www.meguiars.com/whatsnew/quiksuds.cfm
