  • Microfiber and foam detergent

I've looked around here and didn't see any suggestions for this.

Develope a detergent specifically for your microfiber towels/pads and one for your foam pads. Or you could formulate them together as a dual action product!
This detergent would be designed to be able to knock out what gets on your towels and pads during your details. be it residual products, dirt, grime, grease, oil....ect and retain the softness of a fresh new towel without the side effects of using fabric softner. This would be to enhance the towels performance and extend the life of the towel 'cause they can get expensive at times!
The scent would be comparable to the favored Quick Detail.
The name would be something like "Meguiar's Soft Shine Microfiber Treatment".
It would come in half gallon and gallon sizes and would be applied just as if your using regular detergent on your laundry.

What do you guy's think about this?
For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

This is a good idea. I know there are a few out there by Pinnacle, Detailer’s Pride and Chemical Guys. I have never used any of them but may in the future.

I've heard those "MF rejuvenators" are nothing more than gimmicks. A mild detergent like Woolite has always worked well for me. I also recently bought some vinegar that i'm going to try with the next full load of MFs. I'm anxious to feel the results.

I obtained some DP Microfiber cleaner in a trade. I had been using Tide. The DP product and Microrestore (also got more in another trade) is a liquid compared to Tide and Woolite. They latter have a much thicker consistency.

I do not know the reason why it is more watery but the DP product does seem to clean as well and rinses better -- maybe because it is not so thick. I think you can use more with less rinsing consequences. I plan to try the Microrestore soon too.
