  • Glass?

Meguiar's do everything you could possibly want for auto's plus more

It would be great if there was something that could take out scuffed wiper marks on windshields(Yeah,I know about Cerium Oxide etc....)

The problem lies in the fact that glass is very hard and polishing requires the above chemical, equipment and of course experience.

So i don't think there is a possible hobbyist or user friendly solution. Perhaps in the future????

I followed MaseratiMarios step by step guide for glass polishing.'hats off to you sir' if that was your first go!

Auto Detailing Solutions has glass polishing kits. Autopia might as well.

This kit is the Lake County Glass Polishing system I tried at first but it just wasn't strong enough, that's why I used straight CO.

Old Mod Man said he uses a Dremil felt bob and works fast and easy.
So maybe a small kit with an assortment of felt bobs and a CO past like what is in the LCGPS would be a great kit, imo.

I did try the kit from ADS. However it was not for windshield glass. It was for our glass table top. For what it is worth. It worked very well. My wife and I were both impressed with the results. It was a permanent fix.

I'm just curious here and am not an expert. If it worked on your table top(okay, flat) and you liked the results, would it not work okay with the glass on your vehicle. My car's glass is a bit used all over,so i wouldn't mind attending to it,but i would get some pieces from a scrappy first to test on and build up some experience.I've watched a lot of these pros(not for autos in particular) on youtube and it's great to watch. It's the one thing no one does much about as it's a field in its own that's different from doing anything else on your buggy.
