Bring Back the Gold Class Brushes!

I just don't understand why there can't be production limitation and sell them through Meg's Direct or through vendors like ADS. They could be produced for folks who know and trust the GC name. Or, how about special orders? When enough people place an interest and order, then they can be made to order.

The above is from a post I made in another forum on MOL. Many people want these brushes!

The people working at Meguiars are definitly good listeners. Hopefully this is something that Meguiars is working on for a 2010 release.

On a side note, The Gold Class products are a favorite of mine in the consumer line. I like them a lot and they have definitly given me good results on my own personal vechiles.

That said, i would love to see the Gold Class accessory line make a comeback, I think it will allow consumers to use both products and tools from Meguiars and stay with one brand.

I am sure Meguiars is listening to what we have to say, and in the end we should respect the decision they make.

I would like them back too!!!
The seemed really handy and innovative.
I know you can still get them, but I want them back,
Especially the Wheel/Spoke Brush since it bent (Versa Angle)

IIRC, they were discontinued because the products were of such high quality they were a few bucks more than the cheap no-name products on the shelves, and as such didn't sell well.

Of course people on MOL appreciate a quality product like the Gold Class accessory line, but sadly as a whole it didn't make business sense.

The good news is there are a LOT of these brushes for sale on the internet. Just look around.

Proper Auto Care still has them! We found a couple of unopened boxes sitting in a warehouse and bought them up... I agree, it would be great to see these return!!!

also, you might want to change the photo as some may consider it false advertising since the image with the person shows the wheel face brush while the others and title indicate it's the tire brush...

Here's my suggestion... make a new brush based on the old one... same bristles and design but instead of focusing on the tilt angle make it so that the brush part can have the handle inserted at both ends... I have gone through 3 of the wheel brushes in the past 3-4 years and always hate the fact that one end gets used A LOT more than the other... I always have to take it off the handle to actually use all the bristles equally

EDIT: I never saw the big deal about tilt angle anyway...

The picture does look like the wheel face brush, but I wasn't there when the picture was taken.

Other than that, I have to talk the little woman into letting me get some brushes from you guys, great deals!

Even they were just streamlined back a bit to save cost.... they were very robust, but I probably wont be needing them as a hammer anytime soon. Just keep those nice soft body and wheel bristles.

Thats a cool site. Wish the discount stores here had them still.

Even the Body Brush would make a fine Wheel Face Brush if you needed one I think.
