  • Smaller Pads...

I, along with many other detailers, prefer the smaller sized pads (6-6.5") for 'normal' polishing and even smaller pads (3-4") for those tighter spaces on some vehicles that require them. Also, for the G110, 5-5.5" pads seem ideal.

Currently I'm using Meguiar's 6.5" old soft-buff pads (nothing beats 9006!) for my usual rotary polishing, but have to use Lake Country pads whether it's the smaller wool for spot correction, or 5.5" ccs pads for the G110, or 6.5" wool.

I have to suggest that Meguiar's think hard about making available some smaller pads, most importantly 5.5-6.5" ones with the current 2.0 (or old soft-buff) foam.

There has been several threads on this already. Maybe someday, I am sure they are working on some now...

It would be nice to have smaller pads: 3" or 4" in diameter, and yes WASHABLE!!

I know of a couple threads like this that have been posted here. Let's keep adding names and see if we can get some type of a reply from Meguiars.

+1 I should've searched before posting, but I just saw the other thread... in any case, let's keep it going here who ever wants to see these pads and we might get lucky soon

I'll second that. Smaller 2.0 pads. 4" would be spot on.

Always bought the 3M and LC ones. Whens Meguiars gonna produce some?

                    I wouldn't mind a 4-inch pad, but also something like 6 or 6.5 inches.

It's too hard for the G110 to move a 7 inch pad.

                        +1 on the 4" pad.

Right now I opt for the 4" LC CCS foam pad and I like them but I always feel like Meg's does things better than most, so I'd be down with getting some 4" MACHINE WASHABLE Meg's pads.

I'm the guy that started the other thread... add another vote for smaller pads.

I vote for 4" along with the flexible vecro backing plates for machines. At a reasonable price as well.
