Request for a Tire Cleaner product.

I'd love to see a dedicated Dilutable Tire Cleaner in the Meguiar's Detailer Line. I'd like a product that cleans tires, and preps them for the application of a dressing. If I may suggest something that is tough on dirt, grime, oil, and brake dust but also safe on delicate wheels.

Maybe this product could be marketed as both a tire, and wheel well cleaner.

I am using Eagle One All Wheel/Tire Cleaner (just on my tires mind you )

it would be great for Meguiar's to make one up!

APC works, but I think the E1 works better........

I like the E1 Wheel/Tire Cleaner too, only on the tires. IMO, works better than any APC does.

I just use a Megs wheel brush, with NXT wash, on the wheels and tyres each time the car is washed. Then just use the tyre gel after as needed. Works for me

Meguiar's Degreaser is AMAZING on tires. Use a scrub brush and just watch the brown stuff foam up and fall off. I use that on tires and either Wheel Brightener or APC+ for wheels.

I agree. Super Degreaser does work excellent, should just switch to that...

I agree on the Super Degreaser, but I too would like to see a dedicated tire cleaner maybe in the comsumer line. If Meguiar's could make something equal or greater to Amazing Roll Off tire cleaner, I'd be the first to buy!

I used the Hot Shine Tire Foam for the first time a few weeks ago and I was blown away with how well it did. I didn't preclean them or anything, just sprayed the foam on and watched a ton of brown gunk come out. I wasn't expecting much shine afterwards, but it looked like I'd put some endurance gel on them! I was really impressed with this product.

The NXT line has a tire cleaning foaming aerosol can...I have it, and it works well. (Not a tire dressing, but an actual cleaner).

Is that what you mean?

As for the Super Degreaser, I use it at 4:1.

Just to chime in...

You need to be very careful that all adjacent panels are wet as it is possible for the Super Degreaser to stain paint if the product is allowed to sit for a length of time on dry paint. Moreover, be sure to thoroughly rinse both the wheels and paint after using the product as well. Again, overspray mist that is allowed to sit on somewhat dry paint could stain it.

The product I used to use the most was Meguiar's now discontinued Safe D-Greaser as it eliminated that fear of paint staining and yet did an excellent job to clean the tires!

I like Wesley's Bleach White. When I had White Letter tires on my truck I used it to clean them and it did such a good job on the rest of the tire, I still use it when the tires are really bad. When the tires not to bad I use Hot Wheels Foam.

Here's some before and afters where I had to use Super Degreaser at 4:1 to get this tire dressing off. I tried full-strength Simple Green, APC+ 10:1 and 4:1, Dawn, and a mixture of all three to no avail. The dressing that was on these tires was Black Magic Platinum Tire Gel.

I also used some on the wheel to try and get whatever it is on there off. It did take some off as you can see, though I never tried more than that one application.

Right now i have 1 can left of NXT Tire cleaner, which i love, so i like to switch it up bewtween APC, Super degreaser, and besides NXT Tire Cleaner my favorite foam can of tire scrub is eagle one with a Versa Angle Tire Brush
