Re: Gallon size waterless wash
128:1 would be one oz. of last touch to one gallon of water. Same as ONR I believe.

Re: Gallon size waterless wash
Goodness, 128:1? that can't be right... I would think the dilution ratio would be similar to that of ONR...
Someone polish their ride to perfect and do some testing

Re: Gallon size waterless wash
Are you talking about Chris using Last Touch as a rinse less wash? Or are you saying I should just get some ONR? I guess I am just going to try Last Touch diluted 128:1 and see what happens. I would buy some ONR but I already have a couple gallons of Last Touch. My main point of this thread was just that I think there is a market for Meguiar's to introduce a rinse less wash....even if it's just directions for how to use Last Touch in that fashion.
On a related note. I was washing a car in a gated community in California last year and actually had a lady stop her car outside of the gate and yell at me. Something about polluting and reporting me. I think times *may* be changing and a rinse less wash would be a good product for our current "green" era we are living in. We recycled and where not wastefull back when this lady was driving a Hummer and air conditioning her 5000sq/ft house with all the windows open. Now she has a Prius.......and air conditions her 5000sq/ft house with all the windows open. But hey, she's green! Plus, I want to wash my cars in the winter

Search for "ONR" or "Optimum No Rinse" and your answer will lie within. Been watching too much Indiana Jones lately...

Re: Gallon size waterless wash
Last touch and the other QD products fall into the waterless wash arena in my book. I'm talking a rinse less wash product similar to Optimum No Rinse. Something that you still have two buckets of water but doesn't require rinsing after. Perhaps Last Touch would work fine? I have no clue. I already have a couple gallons of it so I guess I could give it a shot. I just think that Meguiar's would come up with a different formula if they intended it to be used as a rinse less wash...but again, I don't know.

Re: Gallon size waterless wash
I don't think it would take much development-wise for Meguiar's to bring to market a rinseless wash product. In Australia, Meguiar's already have a rinseless wash which, to my knowledge, is based on an existing quick detailer called Last Touch.
It's more of an issue of whether the market can support it in the USA/Canada.

Re: Gallon size waterless wash
I would like to clarify my first post. I asked for a "waterless wash". What I really want, and see a market for, is a rinse less wash. I just re-read this and realized I used the wrong terminology. Sorry for the confusion...and I'm ready to beta test....did I mention that already?

Gallon size waterless wash
Just thought I would throw in a suggestion for a waterless wash from Meguiar's in gallon sizes preferably. It's too cold to wash a vehicle outside 6 months out of the year here....and it makes me sad to go 6 months without washing
If you need a beta tester count me in!
