    Re: Ultimate Quick Wax - Gallon Size Wanted!!

    Gallon-size UQW is probably the single most-wanted chemical from Megs that I want. After every wash, I finish up with a "maintenance"/spray wax, and gallon UQW would be perfect.

    I can see how the "industry" might not need a bulk spray wax because when a customer seeks a detailer, they usually seek a correction session and a proper wax...(I don't imagine too many people call their detailer and request a simple wash & spray wax).

    This is in contrast to the thousands of car enthusiasts who detail/correct their cars just a handful of times per year, but during that year they wash their 50+ times, and after every single wash...that's where the detail spray is really needed. And it ain't fun spending $10 on a single bottle of UQW. Would rather have a bulk Detailer-line equivalent.

      True, but there are some who's buying a gallon sized OCW or Aquawax instead.

      Although I like UQW, I'm not sure how much different the other two products are.

      Detailers clean places nobody see. Detailer see's things nobody else see. But if you ask a Detailer to see how a dress looks on a woman, they are blind.

        I'm actually one of those people. I buy Aquaqwax by the gallon because its so much more affordable and the looks it nice also. Don't get me wrong. I have a bottle UQW and love but there's no way I'm paying +/- $80 just to get a gallons worth in single bottles.

        Nxt2.0 = M21
        UQD = M135
        UQW = ???

        It all only a matter of time before it comes out. Im pretty sure when M21 or M135 it never hindered/effected the sales of their counter part or vise versa.

        You guys should just give us a release date cause we know its going to happen sooner or later.

                I just bought another bottle today!

                I have also spent about 60 bucks on bottles, that's probably equal to 2 or 3 in gallon size price wise.

                  Re: Ultimate Quick Wax - Gallon Size Wanted!!

                  The thing wit UQW is that it is a consumer's product, not a huge body shop's product. Meguiar's already has a spray wax in the detailer line which I see used regularly around body shops.

                  A body shop that's trying to maximize profit by spending as little time on each car as possible isn't going to care if the spray wax has hydrophobic properties, smells good and has a good package.

                  Releasing a gallon size of UQW requires a large market that wants the product in that size.

                  While to the dozen or so people that replied to this thread would like to see a gallon size, we have to think about what's in Meguiar's best interest. And like people said, people are still going to buy this product because it is so good and holds up to what it says it'll do.

                    Well, they did come out with 135 due to customers requesting it and they already had Last Touch and Final Inspection the the Pro and Detailer line. The thread is currently is just shy of 100 posts, so there's a pretty high demand for it. Comparing the Ulimate Quik Wax to the Detailer spray wax isn't even close in my book.

                      Is M135 a huge body shop product? The only body shop safe detailer spray that Megs has is M34 - Final Inspection. There is also Last Touch in the Detailer line that privides very similar results. Likewise, Last Touch is much more affordable than M135, nearly 40% less in reality.

                      How did M135 get released so quickly as a gallon size? Why does Megs have multiple versions of similar products on the shelves? It's because there is a demand. Did body shops make a run on UQD and wipe the store shelves clean of the product? If they were concerned about the financial bottom line (like mentioned above) I don't think this would have happened.

                      I'm sure the folks at Meguiars are well aware of the sales for UQW, so if there are enough sales and demand from the consumers, I'd expect to see this in the future.

                          I've been in heaven after "discovering" D155 Last Touch (mixed 50/50). I really need to try this stuff!!

                          Is it good for claying? Sorry, missed 99% of this thread.

                          There are so many "quick spray" products now my head is spinning.

                            I really hope they release gallon size! Love UQW!

                            Especially with work and school have less and less time to really wax my car

                              Last Touch is for Clay Lube use and quick detailing.

                              What the current thread about is about Ultimate Quik Wax

                              It's basically the latest spray wax from Meg's. You apply it like a detailer, but you want this to be applied to a clean car, not a lightly dusted or dirty one.

                              This Product Smells Great, is long lasting, Easy to apply, and beads/sheets water like crazy. You DO NOT want to use it for claying.

                              It's about 10 dollars a bottle for 15 or so ounces

                                I haven't really used any of the quick waxes, sounds like I need to pick some up.
