So, you have great car wash products...but as I was rinsing out my wash mit, I was thinking that perhaps some sort of conditioner could be added to the soap to specifically keep the mit itself conditioned...
I am not sure I understand. The GC car wash and conditioner has conditioning oils in it. Yes they are probably paint specific. But I am not sure they could put a conditioner in to take care of a wash mitt needs and still be as effective for your paint.
The conditioners are added for the paint, not mitts or sponges. I feel they make a huge difference in the overall look and feel of the paint after a wash. It's by far my favorite wash and I pretty much tried all the Meguiar's washes over the years.
Yeah, those mitts can dry out and a pain to get saturated again. I have a bucket pocket gizmo the wifey got me and I store it in that, when I wash, I toss it in while filling the buckets and by the time I get it filled and the rinse bucket and get going, the mitt is ready to go. I've had it about 2-3 years or so. Need a new one soon.

What kind of mitts do you guys use? I've been using the "Chenille?" type for years and never have any problems with excessive drying. I use them often but even if they happen to dry, over vacation or something, I just rinse them and there fine.
Gold class is a shampoo/conditioner. wash your mitts separate if you are having difficulty maintaining them.... I don't think meg's would come out with a Car wash to wash the mitts not the car lol
