  • Smaller pads!

Since you are introducing the 2.0 line of pads, why not make some 4 inch or 4.5 inch spot pads? Im sure there would be a great market for them
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

I could use smaller pads for the nooks and crannies on my car.

        Re: Smaller pads!

I heard someone mention larger backing on the 6.5" pads... is that possible?

I'm also on board for smaller pads

I'll second that. 4-4.5 pads would be great if Meguiars releases them.

Smaller pads would be great for doing motorcycle work.

                That would be great!

I was thinking there might be something in the works when I saw the new pads where 7". It gives a bit more room for that 4" pad to fit in there.

                    Re: Smaller pads!

I would just like to add some noise to the smaller pad brigade. Some 4.5" to 5" 2.0 pads would be a great addition!

I use the 4" pads quite a bit for the tighter areas and spot buffing.

agreed, a nice combo pack with 3 pads and a backing plate would be awesome too.

                            Re: Smaller pads!

I just jumped on MOL to post a thread in this section to suggest that Meguiar's come up with smaller pads, but I found this thread so I figured I'd give it a good BUMP!

I have to say that even though I like the new Meguiar's pads, I was disappointed to see that these pads moved up in size to 7". I'm sure they are great for working on larger panels, but I don't see them being very useful on smaller panels or around tight areas. If Meguiar's would come out with a 4" and/or 5" version of the new pads, I'd buy some in a heartbeat. I just don't think I'll spend money on a 7" pad, even with the great new features of the pads.

                            Meguiar's: Please make a 4" and/or 5" version of the Soft Buff 2.0 pads!!!

I have been using the edge dual sided pads but really dont care for them.
