  • A non-clog cap

    I have used Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax exclusively for a LONG time. It is great! But I get aggravated when the wax clogs and dries up in the spout cap. I either have to stop and poke something down it or completely clean it out with HOT water.
    Not really a new product suggestion, but a product CONTAINER suggestion.
    THANKS!!!!

      When I'm finished with a product in that type of bottle, I'll take the cap off (still open) and tap it on a paper towel on the work bench. Or like you (KP) said, rinse it with water for winter storage or a less frequently used product that might sit for a while.

        I keep a nylon ty-rap on my bench & clean out the cap nozzle while the product is still wet to prevent clogging. Hope this helps.

          I've had this problem, but not with waxes. With Endurance for tires. What I do now is when I'm finished, I put the bottle upside and squeeze it a little so the product that is in the cap spits out.

            What I do when I use any product is that I just tap the bottom of the bottle without closing the cap, this way all the product that is still their will go down and then I close it, never had a problem with it

              Re: A non-clog cap

              I just tap my bottle on the ground a few times to get the product out of the nozzle. If for some reason that doesn't work, I squeeze it rapidly a few times and that will blow it out of the nozzle (obviously that doesn't work with a full bottle lol).

                The trick I've come up with for any type of squeeze application whether it's wax or mustard, is this;

                When you're all done, slowly squeeze the bottle to push some air out. Once you've got it collapsed a bit, grab it the other way and squeeze so it QUICKLY pulls air back in.

                It usually keeps the nozzles of any container very clean.
                It's only weird because it's not normal

                  Yea, I had this problem while doing the leather in my moms car today. I few taps on the work bench and your set to go...
