Hi:
When I use a spray type wheel cleaner a lot of the product runs off onto the tire or ends up on the ground.
If a wheel cleaner had more of a gel consistency it would stick to the wheel surface better. This would allow the wheel cleaner to do a better job of cleaning the wheel and removing brake dust. It would be great for wheels with hard to clean areas.
To prevent the product from damaging the wheel surface (clear coat) it should change color when it is time to be washed off.
