It would also be nice if someone made a car that drove like a Ferrari, looked like a Porsche and cost less than a Kia.

    I would buy that.

Why? meguiars is a company that makes car care products, right? so why not make a car cover, which is also a car care item. I have found that using a car cover DRAMATICALLY reduces the amount of fallout that comes down, like pollen, dust, you know stuff that makes cars look dirty even if they have not been driven. i use a cover every day at school, it keeps my car out of the sun, which saves my interior and paint from uv. no wax or protectant can give you the level of protection that a cover can. i would love to put a meguiars car cover on my car.

Meguiar's used to sell car covers, though they were made by CoverCraft...research their products, they seem to be high quality!

Agree...car covers can be very useful when used correctly.

While we are flattered that you would want one with our logo on it, we are sticking to what we know best , and that is manufacturing Surface Care Products

We will let the experts make and sell covers

do you seriously put a cover on your car every day at school?

do you get any flack for it.

i know at my highschool or university you'd get flack for sure. not sure how your area is though.

I am pretty sure I saw some of those on ebay. I figured it was a scam, someone just put the Meguiars logo on a car cover. Guess not. Learn something new everyday.

Not sure I would cover my vehicle after a drive, flack or no flack... All kinds of road grime/dust/dirt sandwiched between the car cover and your paint, dragging across the surface in the wind and when you 'install' the cover!?!? Unless the cover can magically float over the car its not for me, but thats just me.

While I don't have my license yet, I was thinking of putting a cover on once I can drive to school, but decided that it would probably attract more attention then it is worth...most people would be like "ohhhh a car with a cover on it, lets go cut it" or something worthless and something to prove that they have no thinking going on in their head...

                      just my thoughts!!

you are absolutely right. In fact you make perfect sense. Using a car cover can instill scratches. But, I a silver BMW and I have no swirls, i have looked from every angle in the sun and artificial light, with a magnifying glass. I can not find any, i know that lighter colors hide swirl marks, but i can find any at all. maybe its that nice thick layer of NXT keeping the scratches at bay. A garage would be a better idea, but i dont have one. also the part of cali i live in has alot of fallout, there are about 11 trees near my car. I am nervous about using it, and i wish there was another way, I might use one on my next car, but if i see swirls i will only use it after i wash. And I do get flack, but they all shut their mouths when they see what kind of shine is hiding behind the blue multi layer water resistant car cover I have the best looking car in my whole school.

I bought a Covercraft through Meguiars and it was custom built for my car's overall length and width, it also came with the Meguiars logo on it...I love it.....It stays on the car when in the garage or when on a road trip.

if someone covered their car at my high school, not only would the car have goten ruined somehow but so would the cover.

putting a cover on a car in high school, in my opinion and the opinion of others at myhigh school, makes you think you look like you're a big shot. and so people just do stuff out of spite to say " who does he/she think he/she is putting a car cover on their car in high school..."
