I use the NXT car wash and it works well, but it is difficult to measure out the 1oz or 4 capfulls of the product since it is so thick. I'm wondering if it would be possible to have a bigger cap on the bottle to use or maybe have levels on the bottle to tell when you've dispensed enough product.

Better way to dispense car wash

I also did not like the cap method. I bought my first bottle of GC wash, poured one capful and knew it was far to messy. How about a bottle somewhat like a 2-cycle oil bottle where you squeeze so much into the marked part of the bottle? Until the day comes I am going to pick up the 16oz. version and mark it myself. Then I can just refill the 16oz out of the 64 or 160oz.Watch your pennies and your dollars will take care of themself.

Just take a laundry detergent cap--the kind you measure out for a load. They are about 4.9 OZ. Just fill it to the top and let it overflow a bit and you got 5OZ.
Fill up your 5 gallon bucket 2/3rds full. Then insert the cap full of soap and gently mix it in with the hose until you get to your desired water level. You can see the level from the sides of the bucket. You want to minimize the foam, so it's best to add the soap when it's almost full as opposed to when you just start filling the bucket.

Hey I remember Mike Phillips showing that one.
Actually I tried that, but my permanent marker kept coming off. Must be a cheap marker. Plus the plastic cup kept breaking. The detergent cap is built like a truck.

Another method is to take a plastic cup and measure 5 ounces of water in a measuring cup, and then pour into your plastic cup. Let the water settle, and take a marker, and mark the level on the cup. Now just filled the marked plastic cup up to the mark, and pour into the bucket.
