I've actually spoken to a few vendors about these brushes and they all said the same thing- it was a disaster and a loser for them to carry them. Why? They are very large and awkward to ship, plus they are difficult and space consuming for storage. The end result is that the space/cost of holding and shipping them was greater than the return from the sales.
It also doesn't help that *most* people (ie non-forum goers like us) would rather buy a cheap $3 brush once a year than get a quality brush and pay a little more for the quality.
This is one of those sad cases where the enthusiasts desires just don't match up with the business case behind them. Bummer- I love mine too!
