It would probably be better to use your wash soap and an old wash mitt on a weekly basis. Reserve the use of the Gold class wheel cleaner for every other week or just once a month. I'm sure it's not going to destroy the wheels, but it's better to be safe than sorry. In either case make sure to competely rinse the surface and dry with a microfiber or ww towel.

Safe on all wheels
Only surface to watch out for is anodized aluminum which can be used very rarely on center caps and more commonly on Aftermarket brake rotors. Safe for polished aluminum as well.
Do not spray on a warm or hot wheel as it accelerates the aggressiveness of the cleaner. Spray with cool water. Mist cleaner from the bottom of the wheel up to the top.
Good to go on Stainless for sureDo it right the first time

Hey,
I agree with jbrown@meguiars
Just to add...
Meguiar's safest wheel cleaner is #36 Wheel Cleaner from the Professional line. As always, test any cleaner in a hidden spot. Also, I can not emphasize enough to apply the cleaner to cool wheels only! However, if in doubt use soap and water.
