wheres the bonnet?!

I ordered a bunch of stuff about a month ago including 2 ultimate bonnets. I was told they were out of stock but would be there in about 2 weeks. That was 3 weeks ago and i have not heard anything. Other than not getting them the service was awesome and they hooked me up with some towels so i could do my detail. Does anyone have any idea about the bonnets? Mike? thanks!

Here's what I found out, an innocent mistake has taken place. We have introduced our microfiber bonnets in 2-packs, the change over took place during the processing of your order.

Your backorder was canceled, and a new order for the new part order failed to be generated. This was our fault and we will send you the new 2-pack, part number X4003), free of charge. You should receive this by next week.

We apologize for the mishap.

I also have ordered 6 bonnets online as they are not available down under (I can't find them)

The online shop (major Maccas Dealer) tell me that they are out of stock and that the Maccas warehouse are also out of stock.

Why are they not available in Australia, and if they are back in stock why hasn't the online shop got them?

This is my first post.

I have learned so much here in the background, but it's bloody hard getting some of the products you mention.

Why Maccas don't have a 240volt polisher is beyond me as they are an international company.

I also ordered some bonnets about a month ago and was told they were on backorder. I just got an email from 2 days ago telling me that they have shipped and they sould be on my door step today. Perfect timing since the wife is making me detail her car this weekend. She has been bugging me ever since she saw the results from my Black GTP that I did a few weeks ago for the first time.

Yes, the Ultimate Bonnets now come in a two pack, I'll try to get some more information and even a picture.

thanks mike! i would have called customer care, but with the hours i work it is nearly impossible so i figured this is the next best thing. I appreciate the help. Once again meguiars comes through with great service!

Here's the skinny,

I don't know why our products are out of stock in Australia, I have to humble myself and admit my area of expertise is to do my best to answer people's questions on how to use our products, not how to obtain them overseas. I apologize. I hope that the how-to content has either met your expectations, or exceeded them.

As far as a dual action polisher like our G100 designed to operate on 240 volts, l again do not have a good answer. This would be a good question/opportunity for the manufacture, Porter Cable.

Behind the scenes, I am working to find answers to your questions on the pricing questions as well as everyone's questions. Please bare with me.
