Re: NXT 2.0 Shelf Life
CHzo6 is correct, provided that the bottle hasn’t been exposed to extreme temperatures it should be fine. When the products are stored at room temperature they should have a shelf life of three to five years. You always want to thoroughly shake the product, especially the waxes, before dispensing them. If you shake the product and it is either clumpy, or if it comes out like water the product has gone bad. Other than that you should be in good shape.Rick McDonough

Will the effect just drop or what will happen? Any way to expand the life? Seal the bottles or something?
Better stop buying large cans.Rick McDonough

I kept ScratchX at room temperature for three years, but it went bad anyway.
The old rule of thumb for shelf life was seven years. Why has that changed?r. b.

When I came on with Meguiar’s six years ago and went through the initial training they said that you can typically expect Meguiar’s formulations to retain their full effectiveness for three to five years, as long as the container has been sealed tightly, and not been frozen. I did verify internally that this is still the expected shelf life. So, in the amount of time that I’ve been with Meguiar’s the message on expected shelf life has been three to five years.Rick McDonough
