Anyone else having issues with these disc coming apart? So far this one is #4. I took it out of the package and made it half a panel before the velcro decided to come apart. I was using a G110v2 with a W67DA backing plate.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.
First off, we're sorry to see this happening to you with your initial run of discs. These are among the first we've seen failing like this, however, as they typically have been good for literally dozens of uses and machine washing and drying cycles.
Please give a call to our Customer Care Center at 800-347-5700 so that they can document this, get these back from you and replace them all in one contact.

Is that the recommended backing plate for the MF pads? Meguiar's recommends the short loop as opposed to the long loop velcro. The long loop allows excessive heat build up.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

I had one fail in my preliminary testings after a couple cars, but to be fair I was using them well above the recommended speed settings and with the wrong backing plate...they have been solid ever since I got the correct backing plate and stayed at the 4800opm setting.

Megs will take care of you Jokeman!
No doubt, already spoke with Brian Hann. I sent the pads back so they can look at them. I was using the Meg's backing plate and only had the machine on 4. Hopefully they will figure out why they came apart.
