    Asymmetrical Supreme Shine Microfibers

    My washing cycle of towels finally caught up and I found these at the bottom of my Supreme Shine microfiber collection.

    I love the Meguiars microfibers but these ones are out of square and I tried using them for removing wax. Because they are out of square, they wouldn't remain a rectangle during removal.

    I have a total of 3 that are like this

    Towel 1:

    Alright, so I have a total of 3 like this (I'm an honest guy) but the third set of pictures went God knows where. Plus, I have schoolwork piling up and making another sset of pictures would eat up more time. If it's possible, I would appreciate 3 replacement towels for these but if it's not possible then at least I practiced putting up pictures.

    Just some info, I have 6 of the older SS that I bought from a kit on Amazon and they are perfectly sqaure along with the other new SS I have. These ones though are merely an anomaly.

    They are still good towels.

    If you do not want to use them on the paint, then use them for the interior or something.

    Are they still nice and plush?

    I think I have one or two like this but I do not really care.

      They are still plush but I paid for them and I would like to be able to use them for whatever purpose I need them for. Plus, I use Vroom microfibers for the interior and glass and stick to SS for paint.

      I go through so many towels a week QDing and I don't have enough to keep up so I really need each one.

      This forum is killing me! It's so addictive I can not accomplish any of my work!

        They are fine. Like Nick says they are still useful.

          They may be fine but if I paid for square ones, I want square ones.

          I absolutely love Meguiars but I just want square towels.

            We addressed this issue a few months back in another lengthy thread on the topic. At that time all the appropriate persons at Meguiar's were notified and the issue was addressed accordingly. That being said, we sell thousands of our Supreme Shine Microfiber towels. There is no doubt similar towels are on a store shelf, in a warehouse, and in somebody's garage somewhere.

              Hey- great offer from Brian...

              I'll just offer .02 here- seems to me that for at least the hard core detailers, aka the forum crew- the new microfibers just aren't up to the old standard. Those towels were awesome... Seems to be too many issues/threads regarding the new ones though, or at least it seems like I read a lot of comments about them. Maybe Megs would consider a more expensive line of towels using the old supplier if something changed? I'd pay more for the old towels if that was an option? Maybe offer them as part of the professional line, and the new ones as part of the consumer line?

                    If you could mention that you are coopers23 from the forum that would be great. Please also make a note that you are looking for 3 replacement towels as opposed to a refund.
