  • G110v2 power cord

With 10 minutes left on a full paint correction with my new g110v2 with about 10 hours on it I turned the switch on and nothing. Check the extension, good, wiggle the power cord and off she goes.Finished with one hand holding the cord at different angles to get-er-done. There must be a short in the cord, what to do? Call Customer Service. Had a nice conversation and soon my machine will be on its way to CA. from NJ albeit on my dime to be replaced by a new one! In all seriousness I guess these things will happen and Meguiars was great to deal with and stands behind their products. Just a little disappointed but better now than a year from now but I will be out my machine for about 2 weeks, I guess my other cars will just have to wait. Its a good thing I like to apply my LSP products by hand, really not much choice now. Almost done with my Mustang, pictures should follow soon. Just needed to vent.

The G110v2 really seems to have an issue with the cord... you are not the first having problem with it! I hope Meguiars is gonna figure a fix for there new polisher! At least you're gonna end up having a new one! But I know how frustrating it is to ship the buffer and loose it for a while when you just got it!

I hope you're gonna get the new one quickly!

I am sure Meguiar's will take care of you for your cost of shipping. In the big picture, a couple of weeks without the machine is not that bad. Meguiar's customer service is very good.
