Absolutely understood. But you need to keep things in context too - we sell in excess of a full million of these towels every year and aside from these couple of threads, we just don't hear complaints about these towels. Was it an isolated situation? Could be, but we're still investigating (and we don't want to just do a cursory glance at things here - we take this very seriously so it takes some time to truly sort things, especially if there truly is an issue). That said, something is obviously happening that is not up to your expectations. One way or another we'll get you taken care of. I'm sure Brian will be in contact with you shortly ast I'm essentially out all day today.

Thanks for understanding, and I look forward to hearing the outcome of the investigation.

This would be irrelevant due to the fact that your towels are new. There are many different manufactures out there, and it would be safe to assume that there are many different manufacturing processes.

Of all the towels I have ever used, I honestly cannot remember having used a towel that shedded. This would include cotton terry bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, beach towels, microfiber towels of all sorts, ect., although I think you may get shedding from cheap, non plush, loose weave polishing cloths.

I have never had shedding from plush towels, whether terry cotton, or micofiber, but that does not exclude the possiblity of random, isolated cases of shedding such as the towels you purchased.

I have not personally seen your towels, so I'll have to take your word for it. The bottom line is...your towels are new, and have been washed & dryed, and thus should not be leaving lint/fiber behind.

          Mongoose...

Could you take a pic of the fibers that these towels are leaving on paint?

I would really like to see this phenomenon.

Same here. I have never seen any shedding from decent towels but isolated cases can not be avoided. I am sure Meguiars will help you in any way possible.

BTW, Supreme Shines quickly became my favorite microfiber when I got my first one in the Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit.

I'll try and get some pictures over the weekend. As for the cheap cloths mentioned I would agree but unfortunately this is not the case.
