Very nice.... Like the look of the whole site, you need to give www.meguiars.com web site the same look.

This may differ for every user but this is what I found... Very easy to use and suggests a range of products in each catagory, gives the user a selection if they can't find one of them localy or you can add right to you shopping cart from there, cool. Tons of helpful info on there too!



Maybe you could go a little further and add something for the advanced detailers and suggest pro or detailer line products.

Urm...

I couldn't help but notice that when I tried this out, it had three vehicles in my "garage" already. On called "truck", a Chevy truck, and two called "2hotford"... I'm guessing this is a bug?

Also, just FYI, but the car wash section didn't capture me. Here were the choices:

Please select the feature statement most important to you in a car wash:
High Suds
Paint Conditioning & High Shine
Reduces water spots caused by hard water conditions
Low Price

I don't care about cost, suds, or gloss. I care that it is the most lubricating it can be to cut down on marring, and that it is gentle as possible to save wax, plastic, rubber, etc on the car.

This is a great improvement over the previous version. I like that it gives several different options on what products to use.
My only dislike is all the personal info you have to give to take advantage of the "utility". I could see that as being discouraging for the internet surfer. Not to mention if meguiars is monitoring it for content, I bet they can expect a lot of random letter sequenced for names and addresses.
That said, for the beginner I could see this as being a very helpful and useful tool for learning.

I'm sure that it will be a great tool for many consumers. It's well thought out and has lots of sidebar information. I think it needs to ask how a person maintains their car (by hand or machine). It doesn't do anything for the person who is interested in the Pro/Detail line of products. I probably wouldn't use it in this present state.
