Water in Synthetic Sealant 2.0

Hi guys, I bought a Synthetic Sealant about half a year ago and have used it twice to wax my car. Last month when I tried it, I noticed that the product was very watery, as if some type of liquid has got into it. I'm pretty positive I have never gotten any water in it since I keep it indoors... Anyways, when I tried to apply the wax on, my paint just started to haze like crazy. I don't know why it became watery, perhaps because I haven't used it in such a long time and the solutes & solvents in it have separated, or maybe somehow I did get water in it while washing my car... Anyways, is Meguiar's kind enough to offer me an exchange? The bottle is still pretty full.

Did you try mixing it up really good? Sounds like from your post that It could have been 6 months to a year that you last use the product.

If so, any mixed liquid is going to seperate, same with your wax. Try giving it a really good shake for about a minute or maybe more and see if that fixes it.

Meguiar's will most likely replace it but I know they are going to ask you to mix it too.

I believe I know what you are referring to, but I think it is an oil, not water (could be wrong, though).

Mine will get a little bit of clear liquid on the very top of the bottle if it sits for a while. Give it a good shake and it should be good to go.

Also, how long did you let the wax dry after applying? Did you use a swipe test?

Ok I will try to shake it up next week when I wash it.
I basically waxed small areas one at a time on the hood, then when I am done with the entire hood, I would wipe off the first area I waxed. So I'm guessing about 5 minutes of dry time?

How do I get rid of the hazing? Will it disappear after I wash and clay my car or is it going to require me to do some polishing?

Try pouring out some of the water and then re-shake vigorously/very well.

Did it sit in the heat for an extended period? Sometimes you can get some real separation issues if that happens.

Before you use it next week. Shake it up real well, continue to shake it up during your whole process. You know what I mean. Before you apply the nxt to your applicator, give the bottle a shake.

Not at all, but perhaps because of the extremely hot weather and it sitting in the garage.

I'd probably try some Quik Detailer to get rid of the hazing.

Hi guys. Here's the update.
I cleaned up my car this past weekend and clayed and waxed the entire car. I shook the sealant real well prior to using it, and was shaking it vigorously during the entire waxing process. I did my entire hood only to see that it was entirely hazed after I wiped it. I waited about 10 minutes before wiping it with a dry towel and also did the swipe test. I see no point in wasting my QD so I'll just wait until my next car wash to clear the hazing out.

What is my next step? Do I give Meguiar's a call or can someone on here who is a Meguiar's staff be kind enough to take care of this issue for me? I also have 3 other polishing compounds which I believe are in the same condition, so those needs to be replaced as well. Those are practically brand new with 95% to go. Sad to see them go to a waste =[

Please let me know how I should approach my next step.
