I dropped my G110 yesterday and cracked the housing. Does anyone know if Megs will sell me a new one?

Re: G110 Replacement Parts
That stinks! Maybe they have some broken units laying around and can get you guys the bodies!
I remember I broke my Makita 9.6 volt cordless drill body!!!! Man to my delight I found a company that sold a new body for pretty cheap and then it looked good as new. That was a good drill!Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,

Re: G110 Replacement Parts
That does stink that it breaks when dropping. I've dropped my G100 a few times and only scratched the black part on the front and dropped my CE rotary several times when I first started and expected that to break but it is still holding together.....
Hopefully they improve the body in the "next" generation of the G110, G110HD(Heavy Duty).
I'm swinging towards either a 7424XP or a Griots.....Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,

Re: G110 Replacement Parts
i notice my casing on my g110 is starting to slip off.. (part where the speed settings are) so tried to turn the screw. and it did nothing... so i was sliding it out.. and it turned on, on its own. i only got about a half an inch or less. anyways i couldnt be without the buffer so i grabbed some black duct tape and wraped it around the body. good as new! just wiggles. we'll see how it holds up right before the warranty ends- Markito -
