  • What happened to my Gold Class Shampoo?

Well, just wondering what happened to my Gold Class Shampoo - This is kept in my garage and its never below 45 degrees first time I have ever had a problem!? I did notice a 'milky' look to the product when I used it about a week ago now it look like below. The top layer is like water and the lower layer is very thick almost solid.

We had a order over here that did that. When I asked Meg's uk about it they said to return it and they swapped it. Worth asking them the question

I have seen my fair share of separated products in my years at Meguiar's, but honestly I cannot recall a wash doing this? Very strange. We really appreciate you letting us know. When you call with your personal info for a replacement please provide the batch code off of the bottle too. Thank you!

Re: What happened to my Gold Class Shampoo?

When I let a gallon of Gold Class freeze, I had some separation, but not as extreme as what is shown in the photo.
I just shook mine up and it seemed to remix just fine.
FWIW, a lot of products can be compromised by freezing. Many will not remix.
Freezing doesn't seem to be a factor in this case, though.

I am 100% sure that freezing it not the case with this product, I am very careful with my products have too many/too much invested to ruin them.... I have had tons of Meguiars products and never had a problem so this is a first. I will give customer service a call tomorrow (Tuesday). Thanks for the help. I was very suprised when I saw this as well - I did give it a shake but all it seemed to do is 'jiggle' the goo at the bottom and create suds in the top liquid (you can see the suds in the photo).
