ok im in the middle of a detail right now and my G110 I think is starting to go on me and its only 3 weeks old! It just started to slow down more and more as I was working M83. Then finally it stopped so I turned it off checked all the plugs and everything was fine. I go to turn it back on again and nothing then it starts to spudder really slow and stops again. I switch out lets it starts up fine then two mins later it starts doing the same thing again? What should I do?

The forum is a great place to get how-to information but the vBulletin software isn't really tied into any shipping or ordering software let alone a customer database, so there's not really anything the forum software can do to help with a defective machine except to display the phone number of Customer Care.

Re: Help G110 starting to quit on me!!
thanks mike and everyone for the help. I call CS and they were helpful and told me to send it in and if there is a problem they would send me a new one.
If I do get a new one is there certain model number or batch numbers that I should watch out for that would have problems?

Re: Help G110 starting to quit on me!!
i bought my g110 at a local store but when i brought it home, i plugged it in to test it and it didn't work... brought it back that same day to exchange it but this time i asked to test it out first. it worked... well that unit only lasted 2 weeks. i finally sent that unit to meguiar's and got a replacement about a week after the irvine location got it (meguiars cs is top notch).
i want to believe that my local store had a bad batch as they told me they received quite a few returns on them. my unit (direct from meguiars) is only a week old and has been working fine.

I got mine from ADS 10-31-08 and had the same problem, got half way around my truck and it stopped, it acted like the switch. I managed to get it back on and finish the truck. I will be calling CS.Removing stress & swirls one car at a time!

Moving to the Customer Care Hotline Forum.
Anytime you have a problem with our polisher or any products, the first course of action would be to call Customer Care, you can always post your complaint on the forum later but calling Customer Care is the best and fastest way to get action.
1-800-347-5700
This number is on the back of ANY Meguiar's product so you don't even have to memorize it.
