  • Defective G110's?

I was just wondering if there is any news from Meguiar's regarding the defective G110's returned to them recently, I've seen quite a few posts about some G110s breaking down on the first use. I was just thinking if Meguiar's can make or release a statement regarding this matter, like if it was from a bad batch or misuse or something to that extent. I have one coming in from my sister in the U.S and I'm quite restless about it because I'm scared to get a defective unit. My situation would be quite complicated if I do get a defective unit, I can't just ship it back to Meguiar's from where I live here in the Philippines the shipping alone might just cost more than the unit. I know that is a risk I have to take because the G110 is just for the U.S market, all I want is to be able to get a unit that has no factory defect and wont break down in the first use.

    P.S
I mean no harm to Meguiar's as I am a very big fan and a 100% user, just want to know what really went wrong with the G110 units.

    Thanks!

Don't feel bad. I live in the US and I am awaiting word on this issue before I buy one.
