    Re: Washing microfiber towels

I usually wash mine with Tide without softner. When drying them don't use fabric sheets. Just put them in the dryer on regular setting.

I use liquid tide and I dry them in the dryer with some dryer balls. they come out great.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

Any quality laundry detergent together with hot water for the wash cycle. Some people like to use warm/hot for the rinse, and some people like to use a second rinse cycle to do everything they can to insure any leftover detailing residue has been rinsed out.

As for drying, you can air-dry if you choose, but most people throw them in the dryer on the normal setting and let the dryer do the work faster.

It is not recommended to use a fabric softener in the wash, (liquid), or in the dryer, (sheet), when drying.

We go through a lot of microfibers each week here at Meguiar's and we follow this practice and our microfibers are always clean and ready to use.

i wash with liquid tide in warm water with a scoop of oxyclean. on the last rinse cycle, i add about 5oz of vinegar which helps rid any leftover detergent and also fluffs them a bit. then off in the dryer on the lowest heat setting, with no fabric softener/dryer sheet...
