  • Has my #16 been frozen?

I bought a tin of #16 today, and of course I had to open it to take a peek. Once I opened it, I thought it looked kinda strange.. so I wonder if this is how the #16 is supposed to look like.

If not, I'll have to take it back...

It's been so long since my can was full (you don't use much #16 per application ) I don't remember what mine looked like...but that one doesn't look right to me.

once you start using it, you'll wear off that top layer and it should be fine...

Feels slightly grainy to the touch, but melts really, really easy when I touch it with my finger. So you think it will be ok?

How old is that can? Color scheme is what seems gold stripes on burgundy while mine is silver stripes on interleaving dark blue/black. Color of my wax is very light blue.

Sorry, the white balance was off (bad camera/light). The tin has interleaving silver stripes on dark blue/black, and the wax is light blue I can't wait to try this out on top of NXT.. hehe

                  Hey,

Yeah...I have had a few cans that started off like that when I first opened them. Just take your applicator and wipe it around on the top and the wax will smooth out.

                    you have to cure it.....
Grab an applicator and rub it softly on top of the paste, starting on the center and working you way out, as you turn the tin at the same time, You'll see how you break the crust and it becomes very soft....

It's normal. Mine also looked like this. Nothing to worry about.
