    Hello,

I was wondering why this is not available here in Australia.
Is there any chance that it will be?

    Thanks

Re: Meguiars The G-100 Dual Action Polisher

It seems copy and paste didn't work to well in the above post.

I wanted to ask about the G-100A Dual Action Polisher

It is not available here in Australia and I was wondering why that is. Will it be possible to buy it here in the future?

    Thanks

    Graeme

      Re: Meguiar

I am hopeing but meguiars australia told me that they need to order in a full container of goods to make it worthwhile and there wasn't enough need in australia for them due to the power difference and they didn't make one suitable for our power type.

Hopefully one day we shall get them and be able to use them without adaptors.

I was told by Meg's Aust that they tried them here, they said that they had them for sale through their website and that they didn't take off, so they canceled them.
I'm not surprised they didn't take off online, as far as I could tell you can't order online through Meg's Aust, so that would explain the lack of interest. Maybe if they put them into the shops such as Repco, Super cheap etc they might get more attention.
If they are as good as everyone says then surely they would be a success here as well.

          Re: Meguiar

The main thing I like about them is a life time warranty as well as ease of use. One of these days I'll get the courage up and get my parents to get me one when they are over there on holidays and I'll get a converter from dicksmiths and give it awhirl.

So far I haven't been able to find anywhere on the Australian website to order things but you can ring them up and order "bulk" amounts. Or you can do what I do and get Repco to order all the gear I might need for the next couple of months (saves on freight) so it is there waiting for me to go in and pay for them as I need it. But it depends wheather or not they will do it for you.

            Re: Meguiar

I have found Auto One to be very good, they are happy to get in any Meg's products I need as long as its available through Meg's Aust.
I find Repco charge too much, I wanted DC Paint Cleaner and Repco wanted $17.50 for it, while Auto One were $15.50.

              Re: Meguiar

My DC Paint cleaner from repco retails at $17.99 but I pay $11.30 or from Meguiars Australia its $14.95. As I get trade I can't complain.

It really annoys me with these companies, they are just greedy swines.
