Will it hurt the paint to leave Maguiar's Yellow 26 on the car for approximateely 6-7 months

I am not to sure if I understand what you mean by “leaving” the wax on. If you apply the wax then let dry to a haze and wipe off, the wax in no way will hurt the paint. Meguiar’s recommends applying this wax at least 3-4 times a year and it really depends on the conditions
