    Hi,

The PC/G100 is only made to run on 110 volts, and is probably why it isn't available in your region. It is possible to run it through a transformer that converts the voltage, but this is often more expensive than the PC itself (not to mention cumbersome).

But there are alternatives to the PC. I myself recently bought a Bosch PEX400AE, after reading on diferent forums. I won't be using it as much for defect removal though, as I have a rotary for that. It will be used mostly for final polishing and applying/removing wax.

If you want to look for alternatives, the machine type is called a "Random Orbit Sander". Many brands make theese, but they are not all good however! You need to look for a fairly powerfull one, with adjustable speed, and preferably a 5" (125 mm) backing plate. Another important aspect is the "throw" radius or the diameter of the orbit, and is what makes the PC special as it has a very large orbit. Common orbit diameters is 3 or 5 mm.
