  • pro line and fiberglass

I am well aware of the meg's marine line and have used several of the products with good results. I have gotten into marine detailing and am going through alot of product I was interested in which products I could use from the pro line to remove various levels of oxidation maybe 84 83 82 80 or the cleaners. I used 80 and 16 on our moderately oxidized dock box and it came out very nice. I just need something that I know is going to have some power behind it. If someone could let me know which ones will work on the gelcoat/fiberglass I would appreciate it. Plus I plan on using 3 after the oxidation is cut off then sealing with fleet wax any input i would greatly appreciate. Greg

If you are detailing boats I would stay with the Marine Line of products. You are usually dealing with a gel coat and the products in that line are formulated for that finish. The products in the Professional Line are geared toward a Clear Coat finish. They usually will not be aggressive enough only because a Gel Coat is much harder and thicker than an automotive clear coat. We have three different paint cleaners in the Marine Line that will take care of all types of defects.

M67 One Step Compound: Moderate to Heavy oxidation

    M49 Oxidation Remover: Moderate oxidation

    M44 Color Restore: Light oxidation

These three products will take care of the whole range of oxidation safe and very effectively
