  • Some product problems

    I recently purchased several Meguiar's Even Coat Applicators and also some chemical resistant sprayers.

    Several of the Even Coat Applicators have torn open after only one or two uses. Also, one of my chemical resistant sprays stopped working after one week (maybe used twice).

    I wrote an email to Meguiar's a few weeks ago describing these problems. My email was responded to by Ashe and he offered to send me a complimentary Meguiar's product. I responded with what I would like. However, I have not received anything and when I wrote another email to Ashe to see if there was a problem he did not respond.

    Additionally, last year I bought several Duo Fiber Glass towels. They disintegrated in the washer after one use. I wrote to Meguiar's and I was offered two new towels. After several weeks, they hadn't shown up. So, I wrote an email to the customer service rep who offered the towels. They had never been shipped. I did eventually receive two new towels which immediately disintegrated. So, I wrote another email to the customer service agent who had helped me, but I never received a response.

    I would not only expect better customer service than this from Meguiar's, but I would also expect better quality and reliability from Meguiar's products.

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will look into this matter and see what the hold-up would be. Ashe is very good about customer service, so this delay may have nothing to do with Ashe, but rather a backorder or shipping issue that has caused the delay.

    Please give me a day or so to get some answers.

          I was somewhat concerned that my issue wouldn't be addressed as I had not received a response to my email after several days. However, Tom is now on the case and everything seems to be back on track. Plus, he's addressing my problem with my Duo-Fiber towels from several months ago.

              Hi Tom,

              I just wanted to let you know that I received the package today. In the package was a 3-pack of microfibers, 4 Even Coat Applicators, and chemical resistant sprayer.

              Thanks for your help. These items more than replace the items I had bought which did not live up to my expectations.
